Daaang.... I been searchin high(well, not actually "high" while searchin) and low fer some pics of my old bike, the 750 HondaMatic I used to have. I finally found some Polaroids!! I even found a pic of the very first "Big Boy" bike I bought! Only had it a few months before selling it to buy the 750.
Anyway, this is sort of a continuation of the Scooter Trash!! thread, but it's a different scooter. This 750 automatic is the main reason I wanted the Goldwing I wound up buying recently...same color, and dressed out. I just knew I'd never be able to find another 750 automatic...Honda only made it 750 for a couple of years. There was a 450 automatic, too, they they made for several years.
I tore the HondaMatic down one winter to send a bunch more stuff off to get chromed, and paint/detail the body/frame. Sadly, I never got to put it back together... That's a loooong story...
Anyway, check out the "new" pics of my "old" scoot!!

Vette(s): 1972 conv, 4-speed, 350, 200hp, numbers match, rally wheels, war bonnett yellow w/white top. good condition, nice driver.
NICE RIDE, I had a 500 yamaka also, lots o fun an no dings. I still have a 400 Hondamatic, a 78'. Did not know they made a 750. Wing looks nice as well. My big boy bike has been a 1300 yammy venture royale. Much nicer for mama to sit back an leave the drivin to me. You can always tell a happy motorcyclist, they have BUGS ON THIER TEETH,LOL

I thought they were 450 automatics, but it's been a few years!! Ya...they only did the 750 for 2, maybe three years. '76 and '77 for sure, and I think maybe a few made it out in '78. I saw this HondaMatic on the showroom floor when they first got it in, and wanted it SOOOOO bad I couldn't stand it, but....I had no money, and they wouldn't take a box of rocks as payment!
A good friend of mine actually bought it after I told him about it. He rode it for a year or so, then bought a 1300 Kawasucki Police bike, and I bought the 750 from him then. I just love small towns for deals like this!
It was a great cruizing bike. Had a stereo, and I could ice down a case of....liquid beverages in the touring box...it had a drain hose on it that ran down the frame and dumped on the ground. I put MANY a happy mile on that thing. I wish I had never sold it, but I really had to...I needed the $$$$ at the time.

On a different note, the Wing is getting good mileage.
I've been riding it every day for a month or so now, and the worse I've gotten was 35mpg, and today, when I filled it, it showed it got 40mpg on the last tank!!
