yesterday, we had a car load of Yankees come thru here,, they stopped next to the house,,had a flat tire,,they looked out on the farm and saw mamas rooster a running around with a pair of overalls on,,,, that lady(I think she was from new York) Just cackeled,, said she had never seen anything  like that,, well Ma said,,,last week a big ol gust of wind came thru here and throwed ole blue(Thats the roosters name) up agin the fence,,scent all the feathers off of him and I didnt want him to catch cold so I made him them little overalls,, That Lady cackeled again and said thats the funniest thing I ever Saw,, I said well yall outa been here this morning< I saw Old blue holding down a hen with one foot and trying get them overalls off with the other foot,,that wassss funny,,rd
