That is one serious set up under the hood. Very impressive. I have for a long time wanted to do a old Hilborn 8stack injector on my vett, but could never put anything together. What you have is probally even better than that, you have to get that pic into your sig, I LIKE IT ALOT!!!!!!!

Thank you for your comments , I,m retired so I have a lot of time to play if do not include the honeydo list . I have no idea how to post pics , I,m fair to middlin with machines but I could really wind up screwin sumpthin up here . I have a question for you about your t/tops and the painting on them . What did you do to them .. I think they are eye catching ,,, nice touch !!!

Evening Geoge, I rally can't tell you the whole story on my tops, but I will give you what I know. They are a combination of smoked glass and fiberglass. I know Astro use to make a set like this, but maybe there were acrlyic and fiberglass, or glass and fiberglass like mine. BUT, there is always a but, I have read on the other forum that GM did release or sell some tops like this, know I don't know if mine are the real GM tops or the aftermarket kind. They are holding there sape very well, I know the al fiberglass type tend to "lift" on the outside edges aftertime, but these fit well. As for the painting, just like the rest of the car, I masked off the glass, and sanded and sealed the fiblerglass and painted, , cleared, wet sanded , buffed and waxed, I'll keep my eye out and if I see or remember who that was that said that about the GM tops I'll let you know, I think he may have had a Orange C3 but can't be sure.

If I remember right they were called "Moon Roofs" and were available (factory? dealer option?) somewhere around the '77 model year. The first time I saw them was at the Grand Opening of the National Corvette Museum. There was a guy at the hotel with a yellow '77 Corvette that had the moon roofs. He said that he had bought the Vette new and it was on the showroom floor with these tops. He talked "smack" all weekend, so I took most of what he said with a grain of salt!!
I really like the look of them on Dave's '69!!!
