Thanks guys. For some reason it's comforting reading everyone's comments. I've probably read every post 10 times now. Each time brings tears to my eyes. I could talk endlessly about my pups, I love them all so much. Some people think this is nuts but they don't realize what they miss not having animals in their lives. I actually finally slept OK last night because the worrying is over. Laid her to rest next to her papa Petey this morning. Out by MY favorite place, the "barn". Now I got 2 to say "hey" to whenever I go out there.

[QUOTE=JacksL71]My german shepherd contessa is due thursday. 8 maybe 9 pups, Looking forward to being a granddaddy. I'm so sorry about your Little Bit.   I had to have our little poodle, Cookie put to sleep 10 years ago and have never gotten over it.   We had her for 16 years and she really was just like one of our kids.  It really tore us all up.  We buried her behind the shed, wrapped in a small baby blanket.  I believe we'll see all our loved ones, even the family pets, in heaven some day.  God bless you and your family.

Also sorry to hear about the loss of your Little Bit.  Over the years we've had cats, dogs, and horses leave us for 'the great beyond'.  It's never easy, and size doesn't matter.  They all have HUGE hearts that they give unconditionally.  Wish our species could do that - the world would be a much better place...!!!

Might seem kinda mushy and corny of me to say this, but its nice to see theres more than just Corvettes that holds this group of us together.
