It's a painful decision we make as our pets friend. If there is a chance for them to come around, they deserve it.

Thanks for the update, Mike. I know how hard it is, believe me. Been there, done that TOO many times in my life. I cam honestly say it is absolutely the hardest
decision I have ever had to make(putting a "family" member down). I have a harder time with these things than I do with humans.

Hang in there...we're praying for the best.

Mike, I know the sadness is overwhelming…but I also believe that feeling that grief is a fundamental part of loving these animals. The pain is simply proof of how much you cared for Little Bit, and how much she meant to you. There’s no doubt she felt that love, especially at the very end—and I’m sure she returned it in full.

You gave her the best life she could have had; and you were with her when she needed you the most, fulfilling that last measure of devotion to a member of your family. And in that knowledge lies the comfort which I hope will come to you in the days ahead...

Mike,

I am so sorry to hear of your families loss. Although she has passed there will always be the memories that she had created for your families enjoyment.
Please be comforted to know that there are many here as well who will be remebering your family during this difficult time.
