Vette(s): 1977 #s matching Orange L48 4-speed and a 2000 Black FRC 6-speed BOTH SOLD :(
Patience Larry.  Like someone mentioned, tap on the F8 key as the computer begins to boot up.  It has to be done BEFORE the Windows 98, 2000, XP screen appears.

Depending on the type of computer you own, there should be a some type of mesasge that appears on the black screen before Windows starts.  It may say something like Press the F10 key to change setup (or something to that effect).  At that point, just keep tapping the F8 key.

This should get you to a screen that says how do you want to start - Normal, safe Mode and some other choices.  Use your arrow keys and select safe mode.

This starts up Windows with the bare minimum number of programs running.  USUALLY, the offending program will not start and you can wipe it out using one of your anti-virus/adaware programs.

Good luck.  Keep us posted.

Cybrtechelp  Once again go to cybertechhelp.com It may take someone alittle while to answer your post, just tell them what your computer is doing, and tell them your not really computer smart and they give you easy to understand instructions.

This site is kinda like the C3VR for computers, if you need help with your vette come here, if you need help with your computer you go there LOL

You really shouldn't need to get into safe mode to fix your problem.  Download, install and run CCLEANER.  Then clean your registry with one of the free registry cleaners.    Also, you may want to try a few different MALWARE removal applications because none of them remove every piece of malware found in cyberspace.   I use both Spybot Search & Destroy  AND  Ad-Aware SE.  The best solution is to replace your Windows PC with a MAC...LOL
