Just wanted to share with everyone that I spoke with 2 servicemen in the Army last week and trying to be sensitive to the political issues about pulling out of Iraq, I had to ask their opinion, and they felt an urgent need for our presence there and expressed the need for us to stay until those inhabitants could grow and nurture their own democracy. They were both going back for a second hitch voluntarily. I was surprised, but if the men and women putting it on the line feel that strongly about it, then they understand alot more than I do about it.... It must be a freedom thing, and that's what America's all about. To all you military veterans, past and present, mere thanks are hardly enough to thank you folks for the freedoms we enjoy. We love you all, God bless you. aceinthehole2007-05-26 09:56:13

Hey Ace what a great message, I wish everyone in the country could read it. War is hell, I know because I have been there. Its also neccesary because there are so many people in this world who refuse to believe in peace and want to take what we have away from us. Gene (Nam Vet 1968-69) Please remember our dead soldiers.
