A sad day indeed....I've also had the pleasure of seeing Scott grow up in the racing business...not many like him anymore...

ALTHOUGH I`VE NEVER MET SCOTT, i FEEL A CONNECTION. AFTER WE INSTALLED THE 383 THAT nOSAL1 BUILT FOR ME , WE WERE HAVING SOME FINE TUNING ISSUES.SAL`S BROTHER WORKS FOR cONNIE kALLITA, AND HE HOOKED US UP WITH SOME OF sCOTTS CREW TO HELP WITH SOME ADVISE. bACK IN THE `60`S SAL USED TO RACE A `62 VETTE AGAINST CONNIE IN sT LOIUS. LAST YEAR AT GAINESVILLE THEY BOTH GOT A CHANCE TO MEET UP WITH EACH OTHER AGAIN AND SWAP STORIES AND A COUPLE OF PHOTO OPS.
What a shame. So sad to see another great person from the hot rod scene pass on.
Rest in peace Scott

Wow, that's really sad. Didn't hear about this and Englishtown is only a 25 min ride from my place.
Truly a loss to the racing world

I always hate to hear when this happens. Going up in flames isn't a good way to go. At least he died doing what he Loved!
