That's a nice ride ya got there yerself!

I'm having h-e-double "L" with the title on this bike...it's a long story, but so far, I still haven't gotten it. I've seen it, I've held it in my grubby little paws. but it's been a MAJOR pita to this point...

I'll fill in da blanks later...right now I'm just so dam angry, and disgusted...

The guy I bought the bike from bought it from his friend last Oct. The friend signed the title, and so did the guy I bought from, but he never changed it over to his name...

He gets this "Statement of Fact" form from DMV, that is supposed to allow us to get the title in our name, but...he says "Just white-out my name, and put in your name. My car salesman buddy says they do it all the time like this, and it's no problem." Yeah...right...

Mama goes to the DMV yesterday....guess what? DMV says, "No way Jose...we can't accept a title with white-out on it...sorry...have a nice day."

So now...we've got to get the original owner(the friend) to go to the DPS/DMV and get a certified copy of the title, and have him sign it to me. Problem is, I don't know this other guy, so I got to get the guy I got it from to get the other guy to do all this crap....
All of this just so I can save some $$$$ on fuel...
