The worst thing I need to worry about in Ohio is tornados. Earthquakes are so mild and rare, you don't know it happened until you see it on the evening news.
While some tornados are wicked, the operate in a very small path, and die out quickly, not last for days.
Of course there is snow. And Lake effect snow (even more snow) But even the snow is not like other areas. Over all, fairly safe weather wise.
Now speeding I-71, not so safe!
