Great to hear from you Ken! You and your family will continue to be in our prayers and I'm glad to hear that the family is doing as well as possible.

Can't wait to see the artice and your car painted - have you decided on a color? The last article on the engine was great!!

Keep in touch whenever you can! We're here for you.
PS- I should be dropping in the engine in the Vette over in Butler, Pa in October - I'll reach out for you - maybe we can meet up for some grub!

All the best,
Paul

Hey Ken. Good to hear from you again. Glad to know the wife is holding her own. She's still in our prayers. Sounds like your running yourself ragged. Like Adam said, try to get some rest occasionally. And, finally getting you Vette painted!
It IS going to be RED, right?
Keep us posted and stay well. Dwain

Great to have you back again Ken. With all the adversity in your life, it's great to hear about your positive outlook on life. It helps the rest of us look at each day a little more clearly.
Congrats on finally getting the car painted. Sounds like your "someday" is in sight!!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
Great to hear from you Ken. You are a great family man, a fine title to hold...none better. It is very exciting about your upcoming paint project. I know it has to be exciting for you. It will be like owning a "new" C3. We always think about you here. Thanks for checking in with the "other" family.

Man it's great to get that kind of respose. Nothing like family!

Of course it is going to be BRIGHT RED!!! And it will have a bit of custom paint as well. I am planning on realistic flames ( not fake looking ones ) on the raised cowl section of the hood, and the "Corvette" name airbrushed on the rear bumper to look like water drops. A chrome luggage rack is also planned. (it's in the basement)
The custom paint instructor at the college has some things in mind he has not yet shared. Those guys do great work but I won't let them get carried away. I want a Vette, not a circus wagon. He said to keep an open mind. Okay, but only to a point. I will listen to his suggestions, but may stick to my first plan.
Heck, then I can put the interior back. I have most of it and it's only in fair shape, but it will do fine for now. This is gonna be fun.
Barry, actually a waxed smooth car will get better mileage and have a greater top speed than a rough finish. Less drag. Go figure.
Paul, Butler PA is not that far away a bit over an hour. I think we can make that work. I will send you an IM with my info.
Hey Ken, glad to hear your wife is making progress even if it's slow going. We need more people like yourself in this world.
Also congrats on the body work
.

I would also like to thank you for your help thru Stingray Jim when I was stuck out in Nevada in July.
Take care & take a break once in a while.
