St. Paddies day March 17, 1973.
Of course it was St. Paddies day, it's my uncles birthday, then it was my brother's wedding day, and there was a dance at the school my future wife and I went to (our senior year), and it SNOWED. Started comiing down right after the wedding. 20 inches in 24 hours, most of it in the first 10 or 12 hours. My old 64 Comet and I had to ditch in a snow bank to avoid an idiot. My dad and brother helped did it out about midnight. It was hard to find green with all that white!
Won't ever forget that day!
I'm with Ron....Got a Wee bit of Irish in me, also. Very wee! How many Irishmen named Jose do you know? Today marks my 43rd year in this great land of ours to-the-day. Great cause for a celebration. Got Shepherd's pie and a Guiness waiting for me at home....BRILLIANT!
