I don't think i've heard any news as bad recently as Mr. Reagan passing away. He may have started as an actor, but he will be remembered as one of the greatest presidents and Americans ever.
I wish this emoticon had a tear.
R.I.P. Mr. Reagan.
"Some people live their entire lives wondering if they ever made a difference, the Marines don't have that problem."
Neither did Mr. Reagan...

I know we all can have differing political opinions, and I normally don't like using these forums for them, but I have to pay my respects for the finest President of my lifetime, the Gipper. His optimism and love of the United States was infectious, and the benefits and accomplishments of his Presidency and legacy, will outlast many of us.
Unfortunately, we will likely never see the likes of a Ronald Reagan again. Pale imitations at best, but equals, not likely. Let's all raise a toast, and honor the memory of greatness.

Agreed. He symbolized what was great about America and made us all proud to be Americans. He holds a place among the greats, Jefferson, Washington, Lincoln, etc.
