Hey guys, this kind of gets me a little broken up.  I have spent the last two weeks in Afghanistan, my Battalion is preparing for another rotation in the spring.  I read the letter posted above by DNV, I have to tell you, it means a lot to the boys, knowing that you care.  The letter above talks about what happened the day that DNV stayed inside the A/C.  I am encouraged by his comments and happy to know that he will not hide from his chance to pay respect to our flag.  Tuesday I boarded a plane in Kandahar, Afghanistan.  It was 123 degrees standing next to the Passanger Terminal, hotter in some areas of the country.  My sister battalion had 6 teams out on patrol.  Full body armor, open HUMVEEs, helmets, googles, and in our case-beards.  I know that I can speak for all of them, "Thanks for the support"
