I wear the uniform of our country and yes, i took offense to his words. And even though he apologized, its too little too late. Not like I cared for him anyway.

I'm sorry. I left the country a year ago and although I come back every once in a while, I am sure I miss a lot of the US politics. It's not reaaly that I miss it, but obviously I missed something here: What happened - what did kerry say - that makes this picture that funny ?

That picture was on the local news last night. Guess all the boys in the picture are from a Minnesota outfit.! Way to go guys - we were just beginning to put the "Fargo" stigma behind us and now this...!!!

carey has a history of lying about and belittling our troops all the way from Vietnam to present! He has voted to not provide the funding needed to protect our troops! Remember the $87 billion he voted for before he voted against it! Then once again he and 7 other demacrooks in December of 2004 (while my son was in Iraq) voted against body armor, bullets and supplies again!

I believe that his how he truly feels about our service members!
It made it highly offensive to me becasue my youngest son served in Iraq and is still in the National Guard and will be activated again in 2010 to go back!
The best part of all of this is our fantastic service men and how they mocked carey's with his own words!
We have the highest educated military in the entire world! The US military has a much higher education rate that the general US population!
The best and brightest of the US are serving in our military! This is truly the "greatest generation" to volunteer to defend our freedom!

I agree! He needs to simply go away. Our troops deserve our complete respect for what they continue to do. For the so called "leaders" of our contry to say things like he did is unforgivable in my view.
