Well, you may have noticed I haven't been around much lately.  Thought I'd let you know why.  Here's a link to what's going on with the other fiberglass toy.  I guess you'd consider what we're doing the boat equivalent of a body-off restoration of a Vette.

Willow Refit

I'm tempted to ask them if they'll paint a Vette...  LOL  I hope to get a picture of the Vette and the boat together before she's launched.

I did drive the Vette down to the boat the other day. Nice weather is starting!!!

thanks for sharing the pics and not the cost.  Likes like the "WILLOW" is up the schooner creek with out a paddle.  crap that is a big boat to a person who has never really been around them. thanks.

Karen,

Great pictures. Now I see why Mikey didn't have any problem bringing the little boat home at Tahoe.

If I drive my Vette out to your place, can we go sailing?

Yah, Dave & Mark come on over after it's in the water.  We'll take ya sailing!  Anyone else for that matter...

Actually, the boats not that big - 36 feet.  It just looks really big when it's out of the water!

Larry - ah come one... you know you want to share the cost. Wink

I must confess, the folks at Schooner Creek Boat Works are doing most of the work.  We're going to do all we can 'cause at $80/hour the costs are racking up FAST!  My house is full of boat parts...teak trim, stainless pieces, winches... It looks like a boat exploded.  Mike'd bring home the mast if he could!  He keeps trying to stack stuff on the back of MY VETTE!  Guess he thinks that luggage racks is a storage place for boat parts!!!  Angry

BelgiumBarry, good luck with your baby.  Hope you're able to get her in the water soon.

I'm gonna keep posting pics if your interested.  I want to document the refit so (hopefully) someday we'll get some of our money out of it!!!
