I added more pics today. She came out of the paint booth this morning (they'll do the bottom paint outside). Mike went down to start rebedding hardware. Mike thinks it won't be done until the end of the month. I'm hoping for mid-August. I want to be there when they put her back in the water to get some pics.
We're planning to have a welcome home party for her. I'll let you guys know when. We'd love to have you guys come down with the other fiberglass toys!

Wow Karen, is the upper deck intended to by white and blue like that or is that tape, looks like I see a roll of blue tape in one of the last shots? Actually I like that White with the Intense Blue outline.

Woah....major project, like building a house, never on schedule and always over budget!
I'm sure you will reap rewards for all that hard work, there is nothing like being on the water. You can go where you want, no worries...................so peacefull.Hope you get some great weather once she is back floating, and yes please keep posting, its coming out great.

Yep, it's a major project. Definitely not on schedule and definitely over budget! It's those "might as wells" that get you..."Well, it's all in pieces, we might as well _______....."
Mark, the blue tape is just masking. It does look kinda cool but the deck will be white with the tanish non-skid...no blue outline. We'll have to figure out a way to re-christen without touching the paint!!! Haven't figured that one out yet....
Tomorrow is metal polishing day...got make all the rails and stays shine like the paint!!!

Maybe you'll just have to splash alittle Chapaigne on the hull

Here's how you do it................get all your friends together.....Both Skipper and co -Skipper stand close to the bow........your friends un cork the bubbley.....thumb the bottle....shake the crap out of it and spray all three of ya
ebo smile!

The winner circle effect

Hose her (the boat) down, lick the bubbley off both your faces with a huge kiss........Tell all your friends to leave.......................................
And then go christen the boat

Well I did not want to say who I thought was the "Boss" but the pictures clearly show who is giving direction and who is doing the work.
I love your part of the States, my brother retired from Air Force from McCord and stayed in Tacoma.
I get out every 2-3 years. I do plan to be there next summer, I'm sure you will be in the water before then.
I know who much sweat goes into these toys, we have a 1987 25'DONZI cuddy we have restored, I color sanded and buffed that boat one whole spring. I named it "$INKHOLE" but we enjoy it so much, will be out relaxing on it tomorrow.
Keep posting those pictures, and enjoy the christning!!!!

Your boat looks absolutely fabulas. I game to come down and check it out. Julia has to go to Portland to take her final at Multnomah School of the Bible in a few weeks. I will see if I can get some time off so I can stop by and check out your progress first hand. I have an idea of how much work your going through. Years ago my dad had a 28 foot 1956 Trojan power boat at Marina Del ray . Seems like we were all ways down there sanding and varnishing.

Alan, I like that boat name "$INKHOLE". Definitely describes a boat!
Glen, let me know when you guys will be around. Hopefully, she will either be at home (Rose City Yacht Club) or outside at Schooner Creek. Either way, we can get you in to take a peek.
I posted some new pics in my Google album. The name and hailing port are on and they've started to rebed the deck hardware.
Mikey's almost an employee at Schooner Creek now. Heck, they may offer him a job soon! Wouldn't hurt my feelings....he could work 2 jobs and I'd get my C5 that much faster!!!
