I'm selling my 89 van on cars.com and I get a call from this guy and he asks the usual questions and then asks if I was flexible on the price (1275.00) sure thing. Well I will give you 1100 ok then? Question
 
I said wouldn't you like to see it first???  He says no you seem to be honest, tell me your address and I will send a cashiers check out FedEx and my agent will come and pick it up for shipping.QuestionQuestion
 
I asked where he was located? He says Vancouver BC Canada!!Shocked
Your going to ship a 1100 van 3000 miles??? He says Oh yes they sell well out here.
 
I just clicked my phone off.  I tell ya scammers everywhere. Beware.Angry

Yup...he'da sent ya a check for about $3000, and toll ya to cash it, and send the extra back with his "agent". Then you would find out the check was no good to start with, and you'd wind up with no van, and a $3000 lighter bank account.
Gotta be carefull....they're everywhere...

If the guy gave you any contact info, I'd be callin da po-lice...

Don't that just suck. An honest guy tryin to sell a vehicle and make a couple of $$$. Then along comes some lowlife jerk-wad who don't wanna work for a livin ta try an take advantage of ya. Too bad he didn't get ahold of a law enforcement seller! That would be a square deal!
