Today started out to be a good day. I took my mother out for breakfast. Came home let the dog out of the kennel for a run and then I noticed the garage service door open (Crap!).
I went in the garage and every workbench door / drawer was open. Uh Oh...
After a review I find that I now own 2 less chainsaws, 1 new gold Mag light, and a pair of Etonic golf shoes.
(Odd combination I know. I guess the little bastards didn't want to slip as the were cutting trees down in the dark.)
Fortunitly that must have been all they could carry. I have a large amount of power tools and hand tools. Both vettes were untouched which was a nice thing.
I guess I am lucky since a year ago (almost to the day) my neighbor had his power wood working tools stolen. That was some big $$$.
This makes the 3rd time since I have lived here that theives have helped themselves to my stuff. The last 2 times the broke out windows of my oldest daughters car and stole her stereo & CD's. (I'm pretty good at glass replacement in a Mitsubushi (Mash-U-bite-Me)Eclipse now.
It just ticks me off that I have to work for my stuff and somebody feels as though they have the right to help themselves to other folks stuff.
Thanks for letting me rant a little and vent alot....

Keep an eye on Craigs list. A friend had the same thing happen and busted the bad guys with the help of a police sting. It was really great!!

That sucks man. I know how you feel. I hope you catch the little bas***ds.
A friend of mine has a place out in the sticks. His barn used to get broken into quite often. So he installed a fake camera with a blinky red light. It actually worked. One day the lock was cut but nothing was stolen. You could definetely see the red light once the doors were opened. Hang one outside trained on your walkin door. They may think twice next time.
