Awesome story - and just one of many that could be told. It's a real shame that our media only focuses on "stuff that sells oe gets high ratings". There are countless stories like this from all over Iraq and Afghanistan as well. Plus, folks shoud read some of the stories from WW-II, Korea, and VietNam as well. You'll find a "common thread" running through many of them.

Why wont they tell the rest of the story? =Besides suicide bombers and body count.there are new schools,roads,houses,stories of heroism from our USA & allied soldiers,& even Iraqi US-trained soldiers,the Iraqi's on the streets praising the USA and our troops. I would think that would attract even more viewers,but our liberal media doesnt want to show anything that may support our military I guess
