sorry about skip tux. have had an experience with one of our family members, our cat mittens. not ashamed to admit it, i did cry when i buried her. she was 19 years old.  wife had a hard time as mittens was a really special friend to her (long story). after years we finally got another one. her name is goofball (goofy for short) and she will be 6 in august.  it will be just as hard if not harder when her time comes. they do form a special bond to you. 

Sorry to hear about your loss Larry, I know how hard it is to loose a pet.  Our corker Spaniel died a few months back of cancer, it took me awhile to get over it, its hard when they become such a part of the family.

Oh man, I hate that when it happens.   It's hard to see it right now but YOU ALL gave that baby a very good life and there are other babies (I call dogs babies) that will need that same good love you need to keep on giving, even though it hurts sometimes.  I cried so hard on the way back from the vet that my chest hurt for 3 weeks.  Her time was called and she will always be in my heart, just like yours will be with you.

well if people would talk about and treat others  half as well as you did about skip this place would be alot nicer. thank you for sharing and allowing us to help you heal.
