My dad served in the navy in world war 2, my brother served in the army and deployed in germany during the vietnam war. My nephew served in the U S army and my son is presently a captain in the U S Army now deployed in Iraq. May GOD bless and keep the ones that now serve and thanks to all of you that's been there and done that.

Great to see all the vets on this site (and the Vettes too)! This group is way too cool!
Proudly served US Army for 23 years as a tanker and foreign area officer (Russkie type). Come from a military family, whose members have served as far back as we have records. Pop was a corpsman in WWII and Korea with the Marines. One brother is retired Navy, another retired Army. Son in the AirGuard (flies C-130s). It is the least we can do for this great Nation of ours.
Have a safe and happy Veterans Day one and all. Remember those who served and especially those who gave it their all. I salute you and thank you for your service.
USN 1972-1992. Chief Aviation Structural Mechanic. Thanks to all who have and are now serving in the Worlds Greatest Military! May the good Lord keepem all safe!
1975-1999 US Army, Chief Warrant Officer Retired
