Thank you to all have served to protect the lives of those who haven't. In my small burg of the world today the parade will take place and it will be much too-do. Unfortunitly it appears as though it may rain on the parade. (it is raining now)

Our American Legion will be filled today with veterens and family for a wonderful rabbit fry.

It is their busiest day of the year. It is also the best day that exemplifies the origion of the family atmosphere of the Legion and it's mission for helping our service people.

Please take time wherever you are to remember not only the events of this day in your hometowns but also to remember those that are away as I type protecting our freedom.

THANK YOU.................................Tux..... Tuxblacray2007-11-11 10:12:27

USAF, Oct 86 - Feb 92; Satellite Operations Officer. Spent all my time (minus 6 months in Denver for some training) in Colorado Springs, CO at then Falcon AFB (loving known to those of us there as "Falcatraz" 'cause the place had more security then most prisons) now known as Shriever AFB.

Are there any other female Vets out there?
