Vette(s): 1975 Stingray Nomad Wagon, with Daytona front, custom hood scoop, dual side vents; 420HP 350; Doug Nash 5 speed; 1980 rear end W/4:11 gears; Cherry Red metallic paint.
My wife just gave me a great surprise
She saw the ads on TV for those build your own credit card from Capital One, where you get to put your own picture on the card. Went behind my back, and exchanged my normal credit card for one with a picture of my Vette Wagon on it. How totally cool is that! Now when i charge parts on my card, i can tell the cashier: "Yup, i own that baby" I am so jazzed, my custom Vette right on the front of my credit card! Was wondering if anybody else has gotten one?

Nope...not a C1 customer. I did have an Ecklers card a long time ago, with a couple of Shark cars on it...that was kewl.
I've seen the ads for the Cap1 cards...that's a neat idea. There is also a place that you can get you checks printed with your own pics on them. I posted that info s few years back....
How 'bout a pic of it, Dave? You can block out all the numbers and stuff....

I wish i could do the scan of it, but the numbers are right across the body of the car, i would be blurring out all below the windows. You know, i forgot all about those checks... I was going to get some, but didnt at the time (was changing banks), now that you reminded me, i think i will, Thanks Joel! d.

I don't have a Capital One card either, I think Suzy does, that would be cool, neat and all the other words that show my age!

Hey Scott, the picture you have in your signature would make a perfect credit card.

I carry a Master Card from Mid America with a pic of a C1 and a couple of C2's on it. Everytime I charge something against it builds points towards my next purchase from Mid America.Tuxblacray 2008-02-21 03:52:55

I just don't have a Cap 1 card. I only have one credit card and I have had it for 15 plus years. Since the bank cards are visa now , I might let this one go too. I could hijack Suzys card though...

My first Vette, now owned by JB79:

Our Credit Union in Utah lets you put any picture (after approval) on your debit and credit cards. The first time it's free I think the second time it's like $5. I had a puppy picture of Frisco put on it, I wish I had done the pacer.
