Sounds like you've got a pretty neat job yourself sarge. Thanks for telling us the truth on the lightning issue. What kind of planes do you work on?

Dar, I work on Air Force KC-135R Stratotanker's "a flying gas station." Basically a Boeing 707 airframe with todays technology. I work on the hydraulic systems and the aerial refueling boom. I spend as much time as I can at this job. It keeps my mind busy.
Soon I will have to go back to my (mindless) civilian job at the W.S. Hwy. Dept. The only reason I stay is the benny's and pay are awesome. But your mind goes to mush there. |laugh| Sarge

Thanks again everyone, I appreciate all the support from you guys.

Deb, how's Rosie coming along? Anything new?

Sarge, wow, that sounds like fun working on those huge planes. How much do they carry anyhow? Can they stay up in the air a long time?

Depending upon cargo and fuel load. We can fly a easy 18 + hrs. I will send you a IM sometime with a web site of our "birds" and specs if you would like.

Hey Dar...I obviously haven't been to the Non-Vette Discussion in quite some time!

So, belated congrats on the new job!

Now that you have been there almost a month, how do you like it?
