Actually it was last summer crossing the line at 'The Brickyard' on the way south for the 50th party. Over 850 Vettes from the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana caravans got to turn a slow lap (but it was still fun!) before heading towards Bowling Green.

Guess I'm surfin' the site at the moment.

Missing a lot of work because of all this lovely southern weather! Waiting on my tax return so I can paint the beast. Paint is expensive! The forecast is upper 50's tomorrow and 60 for Friday |bouncy| Maybe I can come out of hibernation |smokin|

Going to be in the mid forties in Metro Detroit later this week. Heck....that is t-shirt weather up here. I think it is time for a drive!

Right now I am surfing about 3 forums. Wondering how my vette looks right now. It has been in the paint shop for a week today. I may have to ride up and check it out on Friday just to check in on it.

I'm contemplating the reason why someone would start a thread to fund out what everybody else is doing |headscratch| |no-no|

I just got back from test driving an 82. Boy was it a dog! Needs lots of TLC to get it to a reasonable driver. Brakes scared the hell out of me. The pedal went right to about a half inch from the carpet. Had to pass on this gem. |laugh|

I'm trying to figure how much currency can still be allotted towards vette projects, after paying to get the Cutlass back from the mechanic. |biggrin|
