Well, looks like we are all going to get $600 to $1200 from the GOV.
What are you going to do with it? To help the economy? Spend it on the car? Pay bills?
By the way I hear it is taxable...
For me, I'll probably just put it the bank and wait till spring and spend it on tires for the vette...
Another thing...Do you really think it is going to work, to stop us from going into a recession?
THANKS, steve

[QUOTE=VETTERBOB] give it right back to the feds

One way er another... right Bob?
They'll get it back..it IS taxable, just like the last one was.
Someone tell me WHY, if the huge tax-cuts for the wealthy and corporations was supposed to do SOOOO much good for the economy, why is it that our fabulous gov-ment deems it necessary to give "rebates" to "stimulate" the economy????

not to be policial but it seems to me if most people are hurting from the mortgage and insurance situations in this country that tha majority of citizens will use there rebate to help hold off the pink slips one more month which means it will never see the local economy, which means it will do nothing for the reccession and only help the rich corperations. just my thoughts on paper. personally i am going to spent mine on whatever the wife wants to spend it on.
that is the american way right.
