okay I drive the vette to a Chamber function, Business after hours, gone the daughter Italian Ice business there giving samples out, anyway the owner of the propane company that was hosting the event, says to me after it was over let me show you my cars? over in his shop he has a 67 convertible black w red stinger hood 427/400 tri power auto side pipes with 78,000 miles then he shows me his other vette a black on black w black top convertible top 4 speed factory air conditioning 427/400 tri power 69. I thought ro myself crap I have a lot of gas so where are my other vettes. he also had a merc wagon, 58ish, trick nice strret ride, and an orginal 58 bucket roadster in need of TLC. I was glad i went just wanted to share it with the boys.

There are more folks like this than you'll ever know. I've met several people over the years that have huge garages/buildings with MANY cars, mostly Corvettes. I have to envy them...
I met a guy a couple of years ago at an NCRS meet who happened to know another friend of mine, who introduced us. The guy said he also had a '74, sorta "custom", but he had most of the original paperwork for it, if I was interested in any of it. Was I?!?!
We drove down to the guy's place, and he had 10 Vettes, of every series...all RED!!!! The guy wasn't really a car guy, he just liked Corvettes, and could afford to have "a couple" to play with...
