sorry about this happenning. all any of us can do is say some prayers
and hope for the best. please don't take this wrong but if surgery is
not guaranteed i don't know if i could put the dog thru the pain of
surgery and maybe the wheels would be better. i am not even thinking
about the cost as i would do it in a heartbeat if it was guaranteed to
work. hope all turns out for the best.our prayers are with you and your
doggie.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.........IT ALL HELPS!
You all are the BEST!

Made my decision. I kept prayin' about this and could not get an answer. Then, Wednesday a nurse called and said she had a dog on "Wheels" and she wanted me to come to the Clinic to see. I went to see this dog and I also had to make a decision about Rosie. Well, still no improvement and I kinda knew that already when the nurse called. This nurse brings in her "Chihuahua on Wheels" to the consultation room. My answer came.......this dog looked really happy and didn't even know he was handicapped. So.........Rosie's gettin her own "Wheels." To bad they don't make them look like a C3.
The hard thing now is cleaning up the mess.....if ya know what I mean. The medicine they gave her gives her the squirts...poor baby.

This is pretty interesting, if you would like to see the website for Doggon Wheels:
http://www.doggon.com This is supposed the best place for making "Doggon Wheels." They are even gonna rush is so Rosie can get them next week!

I didn't get a second opion, the vet I use is Board Certified from A & M....I've known him for a long time.

Glad to hear your decision Mick. A month or so ago, I had to make the call as to whether to have my 15 year old cat put down. They checked and said he was not in pain so we drove home together.
Then a week ago today, he decided he had been here long enough and after I got up in the morning and was able to say goodbye, he left us. I wouldn't trade that time for anything. I'm happy you'll be able to build more memories with your dog. And who's to say that you couldn't fix up her wheels to look like that thar mustard car!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

glad to hear it micki. either way it was a hard decision but IMO you
made a great one. although you have to clean up it is all worth it in
the end. i have a cat and she is as much a part of our family as your
doggie is to yours. we went thru a lot with her as she had asthma and
the vet we were going to wasn't treating her with the right meds. many
sleepless nights watching her cough and not knowing what to do. finally
we got to a vet who knew and cared and she gave her what she needed.
and all the money we spent was (as mastercard says)priceless. she
hasn't had those kind of attacks for about 2 years.
will still be in our prayers as you can never get enough of them no matter how well things turn out. and i agree that she should be come an honorary c3 member. also bet with a little customization her wheels could be made into a c3 but for her it would only be a small butt instead of a large block.
