Vette(s): 69 T-top blue w/bright blue interior-427/390 hp,4 spd,power steering, power brakes, power windows and air conditioning
My first car was a used 65 Impala SS. white w/blue interior. Even today I still love the lines of that year. I kept it a couple years until I could buy something new, something sportier. And then... took a giant step backward and bought a 72 Vega GT! Brings back memories of having it at the strip, reving up that big four, letting the clutch pop and listening to the rear end bounce off anything in its way while the car hopped forward. Worst case of wheel hop I've ever known. Pretty funny but we had alot of fun.

My first was a '79 Cutlass w/T-tops, black with a red interior and a 260 V-8 2bbl. That was quickly changed out for a 350 4bbl and a $3,000 paint job on a $2,000 car. Next up was a '94 300ZX twin turbo, now thats a car I miss. Could smoke a C3 or any mustang around.

Mine was a 1962 Corvair. Sorry I traded it in - love to have it now. It handled beautifully. That's when I fell in love with the independent rear suspension.

My first car was a truck. A little white ford currior 4 speed I think. I crashed it into my girlfriends sisters car a year after I got it and replaced the left front fender with a black primer colored one.
I drove it for two years and traded it for a jeep CJ7 my senior year in high school. I halled a lot of motorcycles with that truck, but the jeep was a babe magnet.

Don't want to say I've been around for awhile, but my first car was a black 49 Chevy coupe with a 6 cylinder and 3 speed on the column. Luckily, I was able to get a 57 Chevy, with 283 and power glide, about 2 years later, which was cool in high school. Have had many other cars since, from a 68 Olds 442 to a Chevy Caprice wagon "family truckster". I finally got my Corvette a year ago, after wanting one for 40 years. Wasn't able to get one due to kids, etc. By the way, Davii, I retired from the Marines 24 years ago.

My first was a 1960 Buick LeSabre. I paid my dad $60 for it and still don't know who had the better deal. It had a leak that dripped from the mirror when it rained, which in Oregon was most of the time. The reverse was shot so I had to park level or with the front high so I wouldn't have to push it uphill to back up. It ran like a raped ape though. Then I upgraded to a 64 Bonneville. Good thing I grew up with 40 cent gas.

Mine was a black on black '63 SS Impala. 409 425hp.
in 1963 it was raced by the factory in what they called factory experimental class. that car was awesome. I traded that for my first vette. A 1963 SW,sebring silver, blk interior 4-speed 300hp. The 409 would be worth more today but I really miss that vette!
