Okay so the snow has cleared and the roads were better Friday. Gave me the oppertunity to bring out the White Zombie and try out some of the mods I've done during it's sleeping period.
I made an hours drive which gave me time to reflect some as well about economics. Like most of you I truely do have a passion for these plastic cars.
With that being said if today you had the oppertunity to go to work in the Corvette field anyplace at any time what would that be?
A Driver... A Racer... A Builder... A Designer? Hmmmnn, so many choices what would it be?
I'll Start:
WHEN I GROW UP:
I would like to be able to share my passion with new owners during the Buyers R8C Delivery Program.
R8C DELIVERY
This would be awesome to see the excitement time after time in a new vette owners face. The smile, the pride, the enjoyment.
Oh and the perks... each day having to go to work and see the cars, the history, the future. I can't even imagine...
Who knows maybe someday I'll get my foot in the door. Rumour has it another car manufacturer has bought ground in my hometown next to the Honda site. Oddly enough it has been dubbed "PROJECT CORVETTE" Could it be my ship is commin in ta port???
Tux...

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Wow! To work at a place associated with the Corvette! To somewhat answer your original question, first of all, who wants to grow up?! Secondly, I think being someone who finds "the perfect car" for people would be a blast!! I know that I really had fun (although since it was for me, it took too long since I didn't want to wait) looking for my car. Doing that for a living would be a thrill! (Hence my signature!)
Years ago, I turned down a job working in Greensburg because it was too long of a drive. I don't know though... Contributing to future generations of Corvettes... I might be able to make it for that!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

.......uuummmmmm , a DESIGNER!!
Today, I took out that felt hood liner on the C5, cleaned it and painted the flags on it. Looks so cool.
Tomorrow, I'll put it back on.....broke one of those plastic things,
ooopps! I be HAPPY!

Ain't we all DRIVERS???
I wouldn't mind being part of the race team...wid my luck, tho, I'd just be the guy that wipes the poop out of the seats after a crash...

Joel, with your knowledge and abilities, you would be one of the mechanics.

I would be the one with the pooper scooper!!
