Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
Okay looking at some christmas ideas and corvette america is having free shipping for on line orders over 100.00 dlooars and since I have to buy a car cover I was wondering which book to buy with my order, the corvette black book or the corvette by the numbers. Can anyone tell me what the difference is? hate to sound stupid but if ya don't know, ya just don't know. |headscratch| |wavey|

The Corvette Black Book is more about statistics year to year. Corvettes by the numbers goes much further into specifics of what is correct for the car...casting numbers, carburetor numbers, inspections markings, etc. Much further in depth than the Black Book. If you're restoring a car correctly, By the Numbers is the book to have.

The numbers book is a great start. If you're interested in restoring or just learning about the cars, the Nolan Adams Fact books are a great reference also.
