Unfortunately, there's no magic wand to wave to make all the bad crap go away, but if there were I'd be wavin' like a maniac! We can only hope that the improvements continue, and that she can go home.
Thanks for the updates, and we'll continue to pray for a full recovery.

thanks for taking the time away from your famly and wife to keep us all here up to date.
Hang in there buddy happy days are just around the corner for you and your family.
She is now starting to make more sense. Although often confused, there is a definate improvement. She is talking much more clearly, but not full speed as of yet. It seem it is going to take a lot of physical therapy.
BUT overall, there is marked impovement, with along way to go. But going still further in the right direction!

updates, we are ALL concerned and are pulling for her.

She now has her head straight! Her mind is back to her old self! She sometime struggles for the right word, and will rephrase something to get around it. She says she can feel some degree of brain damage, but the infection is not gone, so that may be all there is to it. Time will tell.
The latest MRI showed the infection is less than half of what it was. She can now move all limbs, but only the right arm and hand work correctly and at full control. The left side is still very limited, but improving.
This a HUGE improvement. We can talk and discuss things. And she LOVES the flowers and cards from the C3VR family. Still there is a long way to go, but she is getting there!
Ken,
That is really good news. You know we are all hoping that she continues to get better. Please wish her the best, and a speedy recovery.

Your wife, you and family has been in my my family's prayers and will continue to be. I am very happy for the great progress your wife has made. You are a trooper and I cannot give you enough credit for what you are enduring.
Keep the faith, and we'll all continue to talk to the big guy upsatirs! It worked for me while I was overseas!
When you have some free time, spin some wrenches on the vette. It's good therapy for the soul. It definitely works for a lot of us!
May the lord continue to watch over you and hear all of our prayers.
All the best,
Luke
