I'd show them off too. I take pride in my vette and truck so it would mean a lot to me.

I don't care either way. There's this one Mercedes that is at EVERY show and it carries around a folding table with black cloth, a crystal candy dish that they put pens in that say "black beauty" CARSTAR on them, ALL the trophies, pictures of the car, etc. Must fill the trunk up man! We all tend to just roll our eyes and giggle at it. |hammer|

Vette(s): Re-acquired 1982 Bright Blue Vette from the guy a sold it to 13 years ago. 1993 40th Anniv. Ruby Convertible- purchased for my wifes 40th birthday-It has Chromed Grand Sport Wheels, Grand Sport Flares and a functional rollbar.
I really don't care either way. I'm more impressed when you know or can otherwise tell that they earned and deserved them. I was a judge at one show this season and I ignored all the fluff and stuff. Actually as a judge, when they put all that "extra" stuff in or on the car it made me wonder what they were hiding underneath. At the shows I have attended most people have a Showboard. I like to see how creative people get in their displays... as long as they keep 'em off and out of the car.

I like to see them for the restored and original cars, but seeing some of them for the radical ricers makes me sick. Just my .02 though

I like to see them at cruises but they don't really have a place in a judged show. Many people actually display the fact the car is an NCRS winner. The way it has been described to me is that EACH owner has to have the car verified as NCRS or Bloomington Gold. If there are any NCRS judges out there, please comment on that ..... does the NCRS certificate go to the new owner or not?

I think it is just darn goofy.

I prefer to see a photo album showing what the car looked like when they bought it, and how it progressed to be the mighty thing of beauty you now see.
