I have never been a gamer (and it is my generation...), but Sunnoffabitch that people went crazy today over this new console.

 

I was trying to get one myself on ebay, because some poor guy had a "Buy It Now" price at around 550$ when the other auctions were going over 1500$.  If I had known, I would have done the line at WalMart last night....

 

Besides all the hype, 2 things went through my mind :

 

1) with all these "brain" people working for MS, there's no way they didn't know they would sell that much and should have planned for more to be available.  When you are one of the biggest cie in the world, there's just no excuse for that.

 

2) They should give ONE xbox per plant employee who build the actual console (somewhere in Malaysia I think) and allow them to sell them on eBay the day it goes on sale.  This way, they would make one year of salary in one day, on one sale.....
