except to the cops... ( no offense to real cops out there who know the motto is protect and serve, not harrass and ticket)
the gestapo seem to like stopping young people driving vettes...
when i had my 97 (at 23yrs) it seemed I could go 10 miles with 5 traffic stops over nothing (37 in a 35). I dont know how many times I waited roadside with a federali for a search warrant that never appeared.
I never had anything illegal but had to refuse on GP.

Was sick to get a Vette in fall 78, when I finished university and was starting to work. September 2003, finally bought my early 79 Vette built in December 78....she was definitely built for me, 24 years in advance.
Feel like 21 when I hear that sweet 350 roar....

Started with a 62,moved onto a 66 Coupe, should have held on to that one.
In 72 got into Harleys then switched back to Corvettes within the past few years.
First re-introduction was an 81 Coups which someone had made me an offer I couldn't refuse than made what some may look at as a sacreligous change and picked up a C5.
With that said I can honestly say having owned almost one from each generation I'd be hard pressed to come up with a favorite, all had their pros / cons.
