Greetings from FL, I just bought a '73.. Lights opened and came on... now the right stays up... any way to get it back down while i wait for my Vacuum troubleshooting guide to arrive?

Look underneath the front and you should be able to see where it pivots.  Reach to the center of that and pull down.  It will take a little force because it is spring loaded.  Careful not to pinch your fingers.
