Carl,
You already have learned the most important thing about your Vette. That is, you have already learned that cruising on a Saturday night with your lady is well worth the long nights laying on cold concrete making improvements. It definitely takes you back to the younger days. There really is nothing else like it...well motorcycles run a close second. Enjoy every minute of it!
Welcome to the Shark Tank,
Scott

Vette(s): 1976 stingray, L48 COUPE, TH350 Automatic WITH A ZZ4 355 HP 350 C.I. MOTOR, 750 cfm HOLLY, EXTERIOR RED, INTERIOR BUCKSKIN, SMOKE BLACK GLASS TEE TOPS.
Ya Scott, I learned that the good days come after a little work is done. I bought a 69 El Camino a while back and when I put some time in on improvements each time I drove it during the past three years it got better and better. I think that's when I got the bug to move on to the Vette. I really like the feeling of being behind the wheel of a good old car from my younger years.

I will be selling the El Camino soon and using the money for the Vette so who knows I might run into Larry some time in September crusing Everett!

I have stored the car at my sister-in-law's every winter and that's where it's now. The pictures you see are only 3 months old so that's what she looks like for real.
I will be selling her for real (with adds in paper etc) starting in March / April so you can think about for awhile if your truly enterested let me know and give me a phone number. I have listed it in the non-vette related fourm section on this web site under the non-vette for sale post.
