Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Frank you have come to the best spot for help with your vett. Wisdom is learning from others mistakes and there are a lot of us on this site that are a lot wiser than when we first got our vetts.
number one if you do not have one purchase a GM shop manual for your year corvette. All of the other books are mostly junk. I did not ask what I should buy until I found that I had a library of junk when it came to the detailed information that I needed. The second thing book to purchase is the assembly manual. It will show you how everything went together.
The third thing is ask before you try anything that you are not sure about and even if you are sure. Someone most likely has done it before you and the more info you have the better. Of course I do not know you and you could have 30 year experience on C3's. If that is the case that is wonderful.
Welcome anyways to the best C3 information forum on the web.
