Wow!  What a welcome.
Good to be here.

I'm not quite a full fledged member as I haven't yet closed the deal on my first corvette but that should happen this weekend.  I met a corvette junkie - he currently owns 6 of them, and being the nice guy I am, I agreed to help free up some of his garage space by purchasing his 1975, L-82, 4-spd in bright green.

Of course it snowed 2 days after we shook hands!  The title is on its' way in from Colorado where he purchased it a few weeks ago.  Should get here this weekend.  When it arrives, $ and keys will change hands and I'll be on my way.  Let the addiction begin!

I was looking for muscle car that needed a some help but could be driven at the same time.  I really didn't have my sight set on a corvette but once I got behind the wheel, the car kind of choose me.

Looking forward to tapping into the collective knowledge of this site's members as I get to work bringing this beauty back to like-new condition.

Thanks again for the warm welcome,
Jim

Great story. Take some pictures when you get it learn to make them small enough to post without blowing out everyone's band width and give us a look at what you have.
