Hello, my name is Dave. I work with Gene and he invited me here.

I have a 76 coupe that I purchased in Austin a few years ago when I lived down south. It was in pretty good condition when I bought it. The guy I got it from did alot of engine work to it, but thats about it.

I spent last winter redoing all the wiring in the engine compartment and putting it all in looms. There were some wierd things going on there, like random ground wires attached to the valve cover bolts, random hot wires splices together to get power around. Replaced the radiator support, installed an electric fan, cleaned and painted parts, etc.

Also pulled down the rear end, cleaned everything up and painted, new shocks, new halfshafts and u joints, etc.

After - http://i17.tinypic.com/2vacj8g.jpg

Before it got too cold I was working on the interior, replacing the radio with a modern one, new aftermarket seatbelts since the factory retractors were frozen, more rewiring, and liitle things like a new shift boot and what not to clean it up. I still need to put the door skins back on and some other minor things and then it will be off to paint this spring!
