Welcome Vettechick!
I saw your site before a year ago or so when I was looking for fellow vette owners in Mass (before you moved to FL). It must be nice to drive vettes all year round!
Cheers,
Glenn

Thanks for saying hello.... How are you?
Actually I am not permanently in Florida yet, I have a rental there, thus the address and my drivers license and I am still living in my house in MA...GRRR.
Got a question. Look at this please and tell me if you have inner guards. http://vettechick.com/guard.htm
I am going out of control trying to find inner guards which bolt to the wheel housings... either OEM or aftermarket. I've looked everywhere.
The inner guard is stock from the factory and original owner would know that, so if someone bought their 70's vette used, chances are they broke off long ago (like my left one) and were never replaced, so a non original owner wouldn't know that they are suppose to be there.

Chick,
Yeah I got em. Both sides bolted on. I don't know where to get them though. I never have seen them for sale.

phew, now I'm getting somewhere. sell me your left one...jk Are yours the color of your car or black?
If you could, do you think you could look for a number or something on them? If you have a chance sometime. If you can't I fully understand.
I'll keep looking and e-mailing parts places.

They are black. Same as the rest of the underbody stuff. When I have a chance tonight I will check them out and see if there is a number or not.
I saw them referenced in my Assembly Manual on the page for the Rear Wheel Opening Spray Deadener (sheet 14). The page was mainly for the rear wheel opening but shows a drawing of the front too. They reference it to show that the spray coating for the rear wheel opening is also sprayed on that front piece too. It doesn't say what the part number is or anything.
I'll let you know if I can see a number or something.

Chick,
I checked the liner last night and it looks like it's all one piece, part of the inner fender splash plate - not a separate piece. Maybe someone else here knows about this.
I suggest that we move this discussion over to the C3 Body forum so that people read it.
Sorry I couldn't help more.
