Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Hi Mike
Good to have some California Vets join up. American Canyon that is just above Vallejo. I was raised in Fairfield 40 some years ago. You will find this forum helpful if you are in the repair of rebuilding stages as well as just to share ideas with others.
Tell us a little about your car. What condition is it in? How did you come about owning it? Got pictures?

Hi Gilbert,
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm the temporary owner of a 1979 white Corvette that I just bought today for my son. He just graduated from Cal Poly as a Mechanical Engineer and got a job. He's been wanting a Vette(preferably a Stingray) for the longest time and doesn't know that he's getting it for Christmas. Needs a little TLC. It sat outside for a year-driven twice during that time. Speedo doesn't work;needs a rear emblem;new tire;little things.
I'll have fun working on it. My wife thinks I should get my own-move up from my 450SL to a real car!
All the best,Mike
Welcome, Mike! You'll find that this is the best site on the net for C3 info and talk! Enjoy!

Hi Mike. Always great to see another Nor Cal vette enthusiast drop in. No questions too insignificant here, so let us know if we can offer our $.02. Great group of people and the best info in this club. Make yourself at home.
