Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome and tell us something more about yourself and your car. What is that body of water behind you in your car picture. One of the great lakes?
The car is a 1970 LS5 and it is fun driving beast. It is my first corvette and I have only owned it a couple of months. It needs a little but not a lot. The car was originally Marlboro maroon but the guy I got it from had it repainted at the Maserati dealership, color is Grigio Alfeiri. The paint is gorgeous. The body of water is Galveston bay. I actually got this car for my wife. I also have a 37 chevy coupe that we like to show and she also plans on showing this car when it is ready. It is a numbers matching car that did not come with the optional a/c. Down here in Texas it is a must so I plan on putting vintage air in it this spring. We love to drive this car and if we are gonna survive the TX heat it is a have to have. I'm kinda hesitant about installing the vintage air since it wasnt a/c optioned but they are so reliable and will freeze you out.
