In the way of introduction, I am a native Texas boy and a long time Corvette fanatic. I live near Fort Worth. I have owned 4 Corvettes in the past and on Monday 22 August I will own number 6. This is one I have wanted for some time now, my first C3. I previosly owned a C4, C5, C6 and now I also have a C7. The car I am buying is a 1 owner car with 49,100 miles and (supposedly) has matching numbers engine and transmission. The lady who owned it passed away. Her parents had bought it for her college graduation. After she was married, they only took it out and drove it a couple of times a year. It was purchased in California, but spent most if it's life in Nevada. It was never driven in winter and is rust free. Supposedly, the paint is original and looks amazing. I hope to find a C3 guru who can tell me if tis stuff is all true. Even though I would have prefered a manual I fell in love with this car, despite the fact that it is an automatic. I hope to learn a lot from you guys. Pictures will be posted when I can get some good ones.

 

BTW, My other Corvette is a black C7 3 LT with red interior.
