Thanks for the WELCOME. Trying to look into restorying a C3. May be a dream and but I'm thinking it's time to act. Just have to find right one to do. Have a few question, if anyone has time to answer: How to you check the number for the engin and tranny to see if they are orginal and still match? To replace the interior is it better to replace or use the covers?

Welcome Jerry. As far as s matching number engine, you look on the engine pad that is just forward of the passenger side cylinder head. The numbers will match the last five or six of the VIN. Are you looking at any 70s series or specifically for a chrome bumper car?
