I met Dave down in the Keys (Florida) while attending "Corvettes in Paradise" in November of 2007! Once there he spent time away from judging just to spend time with my wife and myself in great conversation and a personal question and answer session of over 30 minutes
.
A couple of weeks later, I bought Dave's book from his site and left a message about our meeting in the Keys. About a week later I received his book, autographed and mailed from his home to boot! Needless to say, the package he mailed the book in is also in his handwriting, so its now part of the set that makes up the autographed book!

While there, he also signed under the hood of my '06, and, our C3VR's 2009 calendar where our C3 was featured for the month of June.

All in all, Dave's a gem in the automotive world, the Corvette world, and personable to the point you felt like you've personally known the guy your whole life.
Thanks Dave! See u again in the Keys!!
Most of all, welcome to the site! Adam is the best!
I THOUGHT that name sounded familiar! Anyway, its quite an honor to have you here! This site just keeps getting better! Maybe you can make it to some of the shows!

Thanks for joining Dave and being a part of this crazy bunch
Looking forward to your Q&A time.

Dave Welcome, I would like to invite you to our annual members meeting, this year we are holding it in Bend Oregon. It would be an honor on behalf of the site to have you in attendance, if you can make it then it would be up to you if you wanted to have a forum type Q and A time worked into the week end event. during the same time and in the same location the High Dessert corvette Club is having a large event so the interest would be great, just a thought. Thanks again. I also want you know that you are also welcome to just come out and play
