Vette(s): 1982 C3 Collectors Edition 44000 miles, sat in the sun most of its life, My wife purchased it for me for Father's Day in 2007 from her girlfriend that had it for 19 years. It is on the road again. I'm retired but it is now my daily driver.
Welcome Dave
Like my wife said when she purchased mine for me "this should keep you out of trouble for a while" After 3 years she said "are you every going to get it done" and after 4 years she said " you do not expect me to ride it that until you get it painted"
Yes they are "the car" and I'm closing in on the paint job.
Keep us posted on your progress and there is a lot of help available here.
