How did you come to own your car? What items are on you short list to be done to it?

I bought my '79 from a guy in PA. I've had a LOT of work done to it (my license plate is "MNYEATR" .... Money Eater lol) including a complete engine rebuild with accommodating upgrades. I've finally gotten through almost everything that needed to be done to the car. A new wiper switch and upgraded intermittent module are on the "next oil change" list. After that, I'll think about getting the sagging driver's rear lifted up a bit. It makes the front passenger look like the car is on stilts, but, it's not a pressing issue. It's my daily driver (along with a 72 Buick Skylark Convertible) so it doesn't have to be cosmetically perfect. My dad bought a 1980 Vette when I was 6. Even though it was a POS, I still loved that car.
The 61 I inherited from my dad. He bought it when I was 9, back in 1995. Dr. Lew got it reliable enough to drive every day after sever long periods of sitting, but it was rear ended in October. Fortunately, it's coming back together nicely and (thanks to Dr. Lew) will look better than I've ever seen it. Bonding strips will no longer be visible, as he sanded the car down, and he's repainting the whole car! I can't wait!
