Hello Adam.    I am in the process of  rebuilding my 71 Convertible.  I had the engine built  back in  Michigan,  then we moved to Arizona and  now the fun begins.    I am running a  .040 over MarkIV  block with  a nice Isky  Hyd/Roller  cam with Holley Avenger  Alum  Rect/Port heads.   She  should be making around 550 hp.
Now,  I have stripped the old fuel tank out and was thinking of going to a cell.   Do you think a high performance mech pump would work ok?   Or would you go with an Elect in line pump?   This is a street car application (Maybe a couple times down the strip, just to see...)
Thanks in advance,
Ron "Warlock"

Welcome to the Shark Tank, dolamiti!!!
Thanks for your support, and enjoy the best Shark site on the 'net!

My opinion on your fuel pump: go with a good quality 'lectric pump.
